I have an 18 month old boy, so this gift guide is focused on toddlers around his age! My daughter is 3 years old so many of her toys have too small of parts or aren’t developmentally appropriate for him. **This post may contain affiliate links. A small commission may be earned.**
Gift Guide:
Wooden Stacker – This is a simple stacking toy, but I love that its wood! I found that my son loves these stacking types of toys (way more than my daughter did)
Spin and Stack – This one is another stacking toy, but you need to spin them to have them go down all the way or to get them off. This is great for a toy that your toddler will continue to play with.
Activity Cube – I love that this one has different things on each side. When my toddler gets bored with it, I simply rotate the toy and he’s interested again!
Mega Bloks – These are awesome because your toddler will likely use them for years! You definitely have to help your toddler at a younger age, but it’s fun to see their little brains work and start to put the big blocks together. Duplo Blocks are another great option!
Musical Set – My daughter had one of these at around 18 months and loved it so much! My son now has his own and plays with it all the time.
Crocodile Piano – In addition to their music set (in in lieu of), this piano is so much fun. I love that is has the colors that move up and down when you play the keys as well. I think this helps younger toddlers enjoy it too!
Foam Climbers – Letting toddlers climb and play is a crucial part of development, these foam climbers are so much fun. They have washable covers too!
My First Balance Bike – I picked this one because the seat adjusts – meaning you can continue to adjust it as your toddler gets bigger! My 18 month loves his and uses it daily, inside or outside.
Montessori Wooden Balls – This is such a fun toy for 6M+. My daughter used to sit and play with hers forever.
Hammer and Roll Toy – This is great for 12M+ and works on hand-eye coordination with having to hit the balls down!
Garbage Truck and Firetruck – My toddler boy LOVES these. I love that they are durable and bigger – and a small business!
Wooden Stacking Animals – These wooden stacking toys are perfect as your toddler gets older because they’re like a puzzle and help your toddler learn where pieces should go (my 3 year old loves it too).
Foam Ball Pit – This is so much fun if you have the space for it and your toddler is bound to love it for years to come!
Stocking Stuffers:
Our stocking stuffers are usually pretty simple but here are some of the items I’ll be putting in my 18 month olds stocking
Socks – We’re always running out of socks (or missing one of the pair) but I love these thick ones to have to wear around the house or on walks in the stroller!
Light Up Bath Toys – My kids love some good bath toys and these light up ones are always a win.
Tubby Todd Bubble Bath – This link will save you 10%! We are big fans of Tubby Todd. Usually I stock up on the large bottle of bubble bath, my kids love it! Our favorite scent is the Honeysuckle or the Raspberry.
PopItz – We love these little travel Fat Brain ones, but the Christmas ones are so fun for stocking too! I will put them in my 1 year olds and 3 year olds stockings!
I hope these ideas are so helpful in your Christmas shopping! I have Christmas gift guides fro the whole family including Toddler under $25, For Him – Grill Master, For Her – Self Care and more!
