If you’re tired of your toddler constantly watching tv or having no idea what activity you want to set up for the morning – you’re in the right place. When my oldest was 2 (and I had a newborn baby), I found myself leaning into screen time to help get all the things done. There’s nothing wrong with this, but at some point – I was turning the television on when I didn’t really need to. I was still using the crutch even though I was more than capable of setting up an activity or taking everyone outside for some play time.

I wanted to find simple activities that required very little set up and simple supplies, but that my toddler would love! So the series “Toddler mom trying to do less screen time…” was born and now this blog serves as an easy place to find all these activities and more. Find every toddler activity at the bottom of this page.
